Job Title: Paraplanner

Location: Kettering (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, Negotiable depending on experience

A highly technical, independent financial planning practice based in Kettering, providing bespoke wealth management and financial planning advice to private clients, business owners, professionals, and retirees. They focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes through long-term relationships, technical excellence, and outstanding service. As the business continues to grow, they are now seeking an experienced and motivated Paraplanner to support the advisers and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning recommendations.


The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team. The role involves researching financial solutions, preparing suitability reports, and working closely with advisers throughout the advice process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and package financial reports for a variety of Pensions, and Investment products
  • Conduct financial analysis by reviewing client income, assets, liabilities, and financial goals
  • Create and compile reports, illustrations, and fund research
  • Answer technical queries and liaise with clients as and when needed
  • Perform cash flow modelling and maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and platforms

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma qualified (or significant progress made towards this)
  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner or a similar role in a financial planning firm
  • Strong understanding of financial products, platforms, and compliance requirements
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and tools
