The Opportunity
An established and growing financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join their team in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong paraplanner who enjoys working on complex financial planning cases and wants to play a key role supporting a team of 3-4 Financial Advisers.
The business is bringing a significant amount of its technical paraplanning work back in-house, creating an opportunity for someone who can add real value through high-quality research, analysis and report writing across a range of sophisticated client cases.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting a team of 3-4 Financial Advisers with complex financial planning cases
- Conducting detailed technical research and analysis
- Preparing suitability reports and client recommendations
- Assisting with pension, investment, savings and taxation planning cases
- Undertaking cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis
- Liaising with advisers, providers and administrators where required
- Ensuring reports and recommendations are accurate, compliant and client-focused
- Contributing to the firm’s in-house technical expertise and paraplanning function
About You
To be considered, you will have:
- Minimum 4 years’ paraplanning experience
- Strong technical knowledge across:
- Investments
- Pensions
- Savings
- Taxation
- Previous experience producing high-quality suitability reports
- Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) – essential
- Experience using Dynamic Planner and/or PlannerPal – highly desirable
- Excellent report writing and research skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- A professional, hardworking attitude with a strong work ethic
