Our distinguished client, specialising in wealth management and family offices, serves high-net-worth clients and their families. They are looking for an experienced Paraplanner who thrives in an environment supporting sophisticated clients and offers a clear progression to Adviser, with full training and support for those eager to advance.

This is an exceptional opportunity for ambitious professionals with strong technical abilities, committed to transitioning into financial advisory.

The Opportunity

As a Paraplanner, you’ll demonstrate your high-quality, relationship-focused service while working directly with Advisers. This includes:

  • Shaping tailored client recommendations – playing a pivotal role beyond administrative support.
  • Active participation in client interactions, helping draft recommendations and gaining insight into sophisticated financial planning.

Responsibilities

  • Writing suitability reports – ensuring clarity, compliance, and technical accuracy
  • Conducting technical research, covering pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
  • Supporting Advisers in creating bespoke financial plans
  • Cashflow modelling and long-term financial analysis
  • Handling complex client cases, acting as the technical liaison
  • Collaborating with Advisers and Administrators to enhance client experience and trust

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner in wealth management
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential requirement)
  • Strong technical knowledge across core advisory topics: pensions, investments, protection, tax planning
  • Experience in report writing and cashflow modelling
  • A deep understanding of compliance and regulatory standards
  • Highly organised, meticulous, and driven by passion for client and family-centred service

A progressive track towards chartered status is advantageous but not mandatory.
