About the Role
You will join an established paraplanning team, providing technical support throughout the advice process. Key duties include:
- Conducting detailed research and analysis across financial planning solutions.
- Collaborating closely with advisers and administrators to ensure all business is processed accurately and compliantly.
- Maintaining CRM and back-office systems with full up-to-date records.
- Responding to technical queries while producing clear, structured client reports.
- Delivering first-class service aligned with clients’ financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Analyse client requirements and prepare clear, accurate suitability and advice reports.
- Develop and maintain cash-flow models, client review documentation, and supporting financial analysis.
- Work within multi-disciplinary financial planning areas, including investments, retirement, tax, and estate planning.
- Assess investment performance and provide technical and analytical support to advisers.
- Offer comprehensive paraplanning support, including technical queries and case management.
- Uphold high standards of documentation accuracy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain awareness of all compliance and regulatory obligations and act accordingly.
- Coordinate with advisers, administrators, and product providers to drive cases to completion efficiently.
- Proficiency in financial planning and research software, including cash-flow modelling tools (e.g., Voyant) and analytics platforms.

Qualifications
Minimum three years’ experience in a paraplanning role, supporting Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs).
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Protection, Financial Planning & Regulation (DipPFS) or equivalent an advantage but not essential if experience can be evidenced.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Organised and methodical mindset for structuring complex financial work.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, capable of interpreting financial data and performance metrics.
- Exceptional attention to detail with precision and high accuracy standards.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet regulatory deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—tailored to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Adaptable, with a proactive approach to embracing new standards and problem-solving.

Compensation & Benefits (After Training Period)
- Salary range: £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
- Flexible working: Hybrid or fully remote options.
- Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays (rising to 30 days + bank holidays with tenure).
- Financial incentives: Discretionary bonus administered annually.
- Salary reviews: Ongoing annual discrete pay assessments.
