About the Role
We’re recruiting for an experienced Paraplanner to join a thriving financial planning firm in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive team, collaborating closely with Financial Advisers to deliver high-quality financial planning across diverse client cases. Core responsibilities include:

- Technical research across pensions, investments, and protection
- Production of FCA-compliant suitability reports and recommendations
- Cashflow modelling and deep-dive technical analysis
- Liaising with advisors, providers, and administrators to advance client matters
- Ensuring holistic financial planning solutions align with client needs
- Keeping abreast of FCA regulations and industry developments
About You
We are seeking candidates with:

- Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) or wealth management firm
- Diploma qualification (or progression to Level 4 via professional exams)
- Strong technical expertise in pensions, investments, and protection strategies
- Preferred: Experience using VFP (financial planning software) systems (e.g., Intelligent Office, Voyant, or FE Analytics)
- Key soft skills: Excellent attention to detail and strong communication abilities
