Paraplanner £55,000 – £60,000 base + bonus + benefits | London
A highly respected, prestigious wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support a dedicated book of private clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with sophisticated UK and international clients and wants a position offering technical depth, client interaction, and long-term progression. The Opportunity
As a Paraplanner, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality, compliant, and well-documented wealth planning advice. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating closely with advisers
- Serving as a technical subject-matter expert
- Supporting clients through a wide range of planning scenarios – not limited to backend operations
- Engaging in client meetings, technical discussions, and the full advice lifecycle
- Gaining visibility across complex client relationships

Key Responsibilities
- Writing clear, compliant, and technically robust suitability reports
- Conducting wealth planning research for UK & international clients
- Preparing annual suitability review letters
- Ensuring clients understand key features of the advised financial plans
- Producing cashflow models and long-term planning analysis
- Reviewing client risk-profiling reports
- Supporting advisers with technical analysis and case guidance
- Attending client meetings, taking notes, and following up on actions
Requirements & Criteria
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Paraplanner within wealth management
- Holding or working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential)
- 3–4 years’ experience in a similar role (ideal)
- Desire to achieve Chartered or Certified status

Technical Competencies
- Deep understanding of financial planning processes and compliance
- Ability to deliver accurate work under pressure
- Experience in report writing and technical analysis
- Proficiency with financial planning tools and modelling software
- Confident ability to act as a technical point of contact for clients and providers
