Paraplanner £55,000 – £60,000 base + bonus + benefits | London

A highly respected, prestigious wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support a dedicated book of private clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with sophisticated UK and international clients and wants a position offering technical depth, client interaction, and long-term progression. If you’re detail-driven, technically strong, and looking for a role where your expertise genuinely shapes client outcomes, this is an excellent opportunity.


The Opportunity

As a Paraplanner, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality, compliant, and well-documented wealth planning advice. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with advisers
  • Serving as a technical subject-matter expert
  • Supporting clients through a wide range of planning scenarios – not limited to backend operations
  • Engaging in client meetings, technical discussions, and the full advice lifecycle
  • Gaining visibility across complex client relationships

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing clear, compliant, and technically robust suitability reports
  • Conducting wealth planning research for UK & international clients
  • Preparing annual suitability review letters
  • Ensuring clients understand key features of the advised financial plans
  • Producing cashflow models and long-term planning analysis
  • Reviewing client risk-profiling reports
  • Supporting advisers with technical analysis and case guidance
  • Attending client meetings, taking notes, and following up on actions

Requirements & Criteria

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner within wealth management
  • Holding or working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential)
  • 3–4 years’ experience in a similar role (ideal)
  • Desire to achieve Chartered or Certified status

  • Confident ability to act as a technical point of contact for clients and providers
