Junior Paraplanner / Paraplanner
Solihull
Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days home)
£32,000 - £37,000 DOE + Benefits
MBF Recruitment is partnering with an award-winning independent financial planning firm to recruit a Junior Paraplanner / Paraplanner for its Solihull office.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced Financial Planning Administrator looking to move into paraplanning, or a Junior Paraplanner keen to continue developing their technical knowledge within a supportive, high-quality financial planning environment.
Working alongside experienced Financial Planners, you'll support high-net-worth clients throughout the advice process, carrying out technical research, preparing suitability reports, assisting with cashflow modelling and helping deliver excellent client outcomes.
The Role
As part of an experienced and collaborative team, you'll play an important role in supporting Advisers from initial research through to implementing recommendations and ongoing client reviews.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and protection.
- Preparing suitability reports and recommendation letters.
- Producing illustrations, cashflow models and supporting documentation.
- Assisting with annual reviews, valuations and client review packs.
- Supporting the implementation of recommendations and ensuring compliance documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintaining accurate client records and workflows using the firm's CRM system.
- Liaising with clients, providers and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient advice process.
- Attending client meetings when required to provide technical support and take meeting notes.
About You
To be considered, you'll ideally have:
- Experience within an IFA or Financial Planning environment.
- Around two years' experience supporting Financial Planners or working within paraplanning or technical administration.
- Experience preparing suitability reports or carrying out technical research would be advantageous.
- The Level 4 Diploma, or good progress towards achieving it.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a genuine interest in developing your technical knowledge.
