Location: Cambridge - Hybrid

Our client is a highly respected national financial planning firm with a strong reputation for delivering independent financial advice to private clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join their established technical team.
Working closely with Financial Advisers and Client Support teams, you will play a key role in researching, analysing and preparing high-quality financial planning recommendations for a diverse client base. The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will be responsible for supporting advisers through detailed research, technical analysis and report writing, ensuring clients receive suitable and compliant financial planning recommendations.

- Conducting research on existing and proposed financial planning arrangements.
- Analysing investment portfolios, including asset allocation and risk profiling.
- Preparing pension, investment and protection illustrations, projections and supporting documentation.
- Producing clear, accurate and technically robust suitability reports.
- Assisting with annual client reviews and ongoing financial planning requirements.
- Ensuring all client files and recommendations meet FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Working collaboratively with advisers and colleagues to deliver excellent client outcomes.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Paraplanning role.
- Progress towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent), with several exams already completed.
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection products.
- Excellent report-writing skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues when required.
