Paraplanner

Agile IFA | Kirkstall, Leeds | Full-time
Reports to: Chris Thorpe - Director
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About us

Agile IFA is a firm with Chartered Financial Planners based at Airedale House on Kirkstall Road, Leeds. We help individuals, families, and business owners bring all the pieces of their financial life together — retirement, wealth, protection, and estate planning — so they can make confident decisions about their future.

We're proud to be a fully independent firm that invests in the technology that lets us do our job as efficiently and straightforwardly as possible — from cashflow modelling tools to AI-supported meeting and report writing systems. This frees us up to focus on the work that actually matters to clients.

We're a small, close-knit team — and as we continue to grow, we're looking for a paraplanner who shares our attention to detail and our belief that great financial planning is about people first, numbers second.

The role

As our Paraplanner, you'll be the technical engine room behind the advice Chris and Cindy give. You'll turn client conversations into rigorous research, clear analysis, and well-written recommendations — making sure everything we put in front of a client is accurate, compliant, and genuinely tailored to their life, not just their numbers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
