PARAPLANNER WEALTH MANAGEMENT - STAMFORD, LINCOLNSHIRE
Paraplanner Wealth Management - Stamford, Lincolnshire
We have an exciting opportunity for a Paraplanner to join our Wealth Management Team based at our Stamford office. We are looking for someone who can write Suitability Reports and process new and existing business, primarily dealing with Investments, Pensions, Trusts and IHT Planning, with some involvement in Equity Release and Protection business.
The successful candidate will have the drive and determination to write reports and process new and existing business accurately and efficiently. The candidate will be working towards, or already hold, the Diploma qualification. A strong interest in financial services, excellent communication skills, and high service standards is essential.
Location: Stamford, UK
Hours: 9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday
Salary: Dependent on experience
To work in our Wealth Management Support Team reporting to our Compliance Manager and Head of Support. To prepare Suitability Reports and process new and existing business in accordance with the Firm's policies and procedures, using the appropriate templates. To use the Firm's case management system and ensure it is kept up to date. To ensure business is conducted compliantly and efficiently. To ensure work complies with the Firms policies, FCA regulations and best practice. To always put the interests of the client first. To promote the good name of the Firm and profession. To support the IFA's and senior members of staff as necessary with administrative duties. To use cash flow modelling tools where appropriate. To liaise with product providers, clients and industry professionals as required. To prepare annual client reviews.as required. To undertake work of a project-based nature as and when required to do so. To co-operate fully with the firm’s Compliance Manager and Money Laundering Reporting Officer. To be prepared to work anti-social hours when this is necessary to ensure client satisfaction.

Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
Achieved strong GCSE and A‑Level results. Brings relevant prior experience with strong knowledge of Investment Bonds, Pensions, Trusts, and IHT planning. Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Experience
Diploma‑qualified or currently working towards a Diploma qualification. A 2:1 or above in a relevant finance, economics, or law degree is advantageous. Equity Release and Protection experience. Competent in using Intelligent Office, IRESS The Exchange, and cash‑flow forecasting tools.

Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery capability. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to quickly establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capability. Able to work with diplomacy and assertiveness. High degree of competency in using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel Discrete with the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality. Flexible and willing/able to travel to all offices Proactive and positive attitude. Reacts well under pressure and is able to work to deadlines. High level of integrity and empathy. Team player. Sense of humour.
