Ready to move beyond admin and build a real technical career in financial planning? This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s been supporting advisers and wants to step confidently into a full paraplanning role.
You’ll join a Chartered, fully independent planning team known for their supportive culture, modern processes, and commitment to developing people properly. You’ll work closely with highly experienced planners, gaining exposure to real client conversations, complex planning scenarios, and the kind of technical work that builds long-term career progression.

Why this role is ideal for someone stepping up
- You won’t be stuck doing basic admin or templated reports.
- You’ll be involved in genuine financial planning, research, analysis, cashflow modelling, and suitability writing with guidance from senior planners who want you to grow.
The team uses AI supported report systems and modern cashflow tools, giving you the chance to learn quickly and focus on developing your technical judgement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Researching pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
- Preparing suitability reports using AI-supported tools
- Comparing products and providers
- Building and interpreting cashflow models
- Supporting planners with technical analysis and recommendations
- Liaising with providers and maintaining compliant client records
- Helping improve paraplanning processes as the team grow

What You’ll Bring
- Experience in financial planning admin or junior paraplanning
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in technical work
- Good understanding of pensions/investments (or the drive to build it fast)
- Clear communication and strong organisational skills
- Working towards Level 4 is a bonus, but not essential
