Job Title: Parcelforce Worldwide Delivery Driver

Contract: Permanent Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical Attendance: Monday, Wednesday to Saturday, 07:24 - 15:00 Location: Parcelforce Worldwide, Cambridge, CB1 3EZ
Salary & Benefits
Starting Salary & Progression
- £25,201 per year (~£12.71 per hour)
- After 6 months: £27,561 per year (~£13.94 per hour)
- Maximum potential: £30,000 per year (38-hour week + overtime)
Weekend Premiums
- +£4.39 per hour for Saturdays
- +£6.58 per hour for Sundays (applied to contracted hours)
Additional Allowances
-Monthly non-pensionable addition to pay: £903.84 per year -Weekly driving allowance: £26.73 per week

The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
- Sorting and routing parcels efficiently for maximum delivery efficiency
- Conducting essential vehicle safety checks prior to routes
- Collecting, loading, and delivering parcels to residential and business premises
- Providing a friendly, reliable service— Delivering everything from birthday gifts to critical business mail
- Operating independently with excellent teamwork skills when required

Person Specification: What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- A full manual UK driving licence (Category B, up to 3.5 tonnes), registered to your current address
- Current licence must be within 6 months of the validation period
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Ability to lift and carry parcels of up to 30kg regularly
- Strong customer service focus
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
