Position: Park Ranger
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal
Pay Rates: Up to £12.71 per hour depending on age
About the Role
Join our One Great Team here at Haven as a Park Ranger, where you’ll inspire Guests to connect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors. If you’re passionate about nature, conservation, and delivering unforgettable outdoor experiences, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead exciting activities such as:
- Bushcraft
- Den building
- Bat walks
- Creative sessions like nest box making and pebble art
- Encourage Guests to explore the park while fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural environment
- Protect and preserve the countryside by managing habitats to support wildlife
- Educate Guests on environmental conservation through engaging and informative experiences
- Ensure a safe and secure environment within the park’s Nature activity areas

Requirements
- Experience as a Park Ranger or Activities Leader is ideal, but previous roles such as Cubs, Scouts, or Guides Leader are equally valued
- A love for the great outdoors, a passion for working with nature, and the ability to inspire and motivate others with outdoor learning
- Basic Health and Safety knowledge
- Experience of working with young children (of all ages) and families/groups of people
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting
