Parking Administration Assistant
Malvern Hills and Wychavon District Councils
22.2hrs per week working Monday to Wednesday, 9am-5pm.
Permanent - £15,111.00 - £15,593.40 per annum (FTE £25,185 - £25,989) Pay award pending
Think administration is all filing and paperwork? Think again! Our Parking Services Administration Team deals with a huge variety of tasks every day covering eight councils, making this a role that keeps you on your toes. From processing permits and taking payments to helping customers with the parking appeals process and managing a busy inbox, there’s always something new to get involved in.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and enjoys helping people. Parking experience isn't essential – what matters most is a positive attitude, confidence, willingness to learn and we’ll help with the rest. If you enjoy a role where every day is a little different, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be confident using IT systems and can quickly learn new software and processes.
- Be a clear and confident communicator, both over the telephone and in writing.
- Effectively plan, organise and prioritise their workload.
- Have a keen eye for detail ensuring accuracy and consistency across a range of administrative, communication and customer service tasks.
- Remain calm, organised and professional when working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
