Assistant Architect – London
Supporting a Leading International Architecture Practice
Our long-standing client, a renowned architecture practice with studios in the UK and Europe, seeks an Assistant Architect to join their growing London team. The firm specialises in data centres, life sciences, as well as retail and workplace projects, delivering rigorous, technically complex designs across Europe.

About the Role
The Assistant Architect will support senior architects and project leaders across RIBA Stages 2–5, contributing to:
- Planning packages, design development, and technical detailing
- Produce accurate drawings, 3D models, visualisations, and coordinated packages
- Assist with consultant coordination, research, and project Documentation
- Collaborate on projects across UK and Europe
Ideal candidates have experience in data centres, laboratories, industrial, scientific/technical, or large commercial sectors—or transferable technical expertise from related fields (e.g., logistics, healthcare, infrastructure).

Responsibilities
- Technical and Design Support:
- Assist in technical coordination, design documentation, and project feasibility studies.
- Create drawings, models, and visualisations to support design iterations.
- Project Contribution:
- Contribute to planning submissions, design development, and detail design phases.
- Collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and consultants to align deliverables.
- Research & Coordination:
- Conduct research to underpin design decisions.
- Coordinate with external consultants (MEP, structural, etc.).
- Drafting & Documentation:
- Execute CAD/Revit modelling (proficient users preferred).
- Compile coordinated packages for review.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
- Technical aptitude in architecture, construction, or a related engineering/design discipline.
- Proficient in Revit (or willingness to develop key skills quickly).
- Experience in data centres/life sciences (preferred) or from:
- Industrial buildings
- Logistics/warehouses
- Healthcare facilities
- Strong organisational and communication skills for multi-disciplinary collaboration.
- Availability: Preferably immediate or starting January 2026.
