Job Title: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Salary: GBP27,340 DOE
About The Company
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a well-established, design-led architectural practice based in Birmingham. With over 30 years of experience, the practice has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors throughout the UK. The successful candidate will become part of the Residential and Industrial team, supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to completion while working alongside a collaborative and experienced group of Architects, Technologists, and Designers.
This role is ideally suited to a Part 2 Architectural Assistant with several years of UK industry experience who is looking to further develop their technical and design skills within a supportive practice that places a strong emphasis on professional development and teamwork.

Daily Duties
- Support the delivery of Residential and Industrial projects across multiple RIBA stages
- Produce high-quality planning, presentation, and technical drawing packages
- Develop detailed design and construction information using Revit
- Assist with planning and Building Regulations submissions
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors
- Attend design meetings and site visits
- Support senior team members with project delivery and technical detailing
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard whilst meeting project deadlines

Ideal Candidate
- RIBA Part 2 qualified Architectural Assistant
- Several years UK industry experience within an architectural practice
- Experience working on Residential and/or Industrial projects
- Proficient in Revit with strong technical drawing abilities
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work effectively within a collaborative team
- Ambition to progress towards Part 3 qualification and long-term career development
