Role Summary
The Account Administrator will work alongside the current account managers either from the office or on site or both as required to look after their clients. This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills with computer literacy in Microsoft Office with willingness to learn other software programs. The role is five days a week with half-day hours. Collaboration and transparent communication are key to working effectively within our small team.
Major Responsibilities
- Working alongside the current account managers either from the office or onsite or both as required to look after their clients. Interest in horseracing, sporting events, and festivals ideal.
- Potential liaising with the client, reviewing progress of projects, and assisting the account managers in the production of tender information.
- Attend site meetings and where required produce meeting notes, circulate, and action.
- Learning the basics of organising an event including areas such as timings, budget, and financial targets.
- Understanding of the invoicing system and billing processes.
- Commercial awareness and financial aspects of projects.
- Prepare, monitor, update, and circulate programme of works.
- Liasing on resources such as labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Confidentiality of any sensitive material, information, or correspondence.
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and security onsite.
- Observing quality standards of projects.
- Always conducting themselves in a professional manner.
- To ensure that arrangements and resources are in place to implement and support the Company Safety Statement and to support and facilitate all levels of Management in compliance with Health and Safety.
- To bear any other reasonable responsibilities and undertake any other reasonable duties as the management may from time to time agree upon or may become necessary to meet the operating needs and requirements of the business to maintain agreed levels of service.
- To make, always, every reasonable effort to:
- Promptly identify, prevent, and when appropriate to successfully resolve business related problems including those which arise from noncompliance with any of the business’ systems,
- Identify opportunities for improvement, particularly measurable improvements in all areas of the business including quality/business and environment issues.

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- At least 2+ years administrative experience.
- Basic knowledge of project management fundamentals
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Prove account management skills to create, maintain and enhance client relationships.
- Routine manual handling responsibilities, including lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move office equipment or stock weighing up to 10kg to load vans and shelves.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential physical functions.
Skills And Qualifications
- Strong organisational and administration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to write and speak in an engaging way and can explain your thoughts and ideas succinctly.
- Highly organised and able to multi-task, works well under pressure and ability to adapt to quick changes.
- Computer literate as well as technologically savvy with various software and social media platforms.
- Ability to work flexible hours especially during event season.
- Great team player with a sense of humour.
- Ability to identify problems potential risks and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a small business environment.
- Familiarity with CRM, invoicing, and project tracking tools.

Salary Range
Salary based on experience.
