About The Opportunity
Office Angels are delighted to be partnering with a well-established consultancy within a specialist sector to recruit a Part-Time Administrator. While full details will be shared at interview stage due to confidentiality, this is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and collaborative team in a varied, hands-on role.
The Role
We're looking for a proactive, confident, and self-sufficient individual who enjoys taking ownership of their work. You'll be comfortable managing your own workload, working independently, and liaising with senior stakeholders - up to Director level - to ensure key tasks are delivered on time.
This is a dynamic and varied position, offering exposure to multiple areas of the business including administration, finance support, and client coordination.
The role offers flexibility in how the 20 hours are structured (for example, 4 hours per day), however you will be based in the office across five days.
Key Responsibilities
You will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the business, including:
- Assisting with tender bid submissions, preparing professional documentation in Word and PowerPoint
- Producing and formatting reports and specifications to a high standard
- Managing monthly invoicing using Sage, in line with forecast sheets
- Providing front-of-house support, including reception duties and handling incoming calls
- Monitoring shared inboxes (Accounts and Energy) via Outlook
- Tracking incoming payments and maintaining accurate financial records
- Updating and maintaining the electronic cash book in Excel
- Logging invoices and credit notes and issuing monthly customer statements
- Creating new job records and tracking data using Excel
- Processing cheques, including banking at the Post Office
- Preparing fortnightly Aged Debtors reports for senior stakeholders
- Supporting colleagues and providing cover where needed

What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A highly organised and proactive approach
- The ability to produce accurate, high-quality work to deadline
- Strong skills across Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- A confident and professional communication style, particularly over the phone
- The ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
- Previous experience with Sage is beneficial, but not essential (full training provided)
