Your Role
As a Care Assistant, you'll provide personalised support that promotes independence and enhances quality of life. Duties include:
- Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
- Assisting with meal preparation and encouraging healthy eating.
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction.
- Supporting daily routines and encouraging independence.
- Assisting with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable home.
- Administering medication in line with care plans and company policies.
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes to the wider care team.
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
- Working alongside colleagues to deliver consistent, person-centred support.
- Following all health and safety and safeguarding procedures.

About The Role
- Based in Brotton, supporting an individual with learning disabilities in their own home.
- We are recruiting two part-time Care Assistants to join an established and supportive care team.
- Regular part-time hours available across weekdays, evenings and weekends.
- Opportunity to work additional hours if desired.
- Full training and ongoing support provided.
What We're Looking For
- A caring, patient and compassionate nature.
- A genuine passion for supporting people with learning disabilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to work as part of a team.
- No previous care experience is required – full training is provided.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential.
