Quality pet-focused healthcare career with a fun journey guaranteed!

PART-TIME CARE COORDINATOR - KINGSWINFORD

Are you passionate about caring for both people and their pets? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and proactive individual to join our fantastic Kingswinford team!

We are a family-owned, independent group of practices who believe that providing an exceptional client experience is just as important as providing outstanding pet healthcare.

The role will be predominantly face to face and dealing with the phone, interacting with people and their pets. We won’t have you stuck behind a desk, you will be able to move around our superb waiting pods and have a cuddle with the pets, which we think is a much better way to spend the day!

There will also be administrative duties, and being a veterinary practice, no two days are the same!

  • 20 hours per week
  • Shifts range between 8am–7pm
  • 1:5 Saturday mornings 8.30am-1pm
  • Competitive salary
  • Fantastic progression within the role, with our Development Plan (opportunity to significantly increase salary)

Why join us?

  • A true family practice with a supportive, friendly team
  • A pet-centric Fear Free practice
  • New state of the art clinic and equipment
  • 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (Good Friday worked but day in lieu given)
  • Day off for birthday
  • Free preventative healthcare plan for your pets plus generous discounts
  • Three days off to work for a local charity of your choice
  • Gym contribution
  • Private medical insurance

What Makes Us Different

  • We provide a positive environment where you will be supported by vastly experienced owners that you will know and work with.
  • Being part of a fast growing and young practice is exciting. We guarantee you will enjoy the ride and have fun!
  • You will be part of a team of like-minded colleagues.
  • We are people focused, ask any of our team. The deal is that you work hard and in return we will look after you to the best of our ability.
  • We are pet centric – we are the first veterinary practice outside of north America to be Fear Free accredited. This is the standard of care our pets deserve.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

FAMILY-OWNED & INDEPENDENT

Being family-owned and independent means security, trust and ensures we are aligned with our vision and mission to deliver not only our key principles, Quality, Integrity, Passion, and Growth, but also to be the kind of veterinary practice that we are proud of.

We have three generations of the Harrison Family working within our business- Tim, our Managing Director, works alongside his daughter, Annabel, and father, Craig.

Further it means that we are free to make our own decisions and are not governed by remote owners. This gives us the freedom to act in the best interests of our clinics, our team members, our clients, and most importantly, your pets.

FEAR FREE

We understand that pets are part of the family, so as standard our teams are accredited ‘Fear Free’ professionals who can prevent and alleviate potential fear and stress experienced by your pets during their visit. To achieve this, amongst many other things, our ward areas have classical music playing and softer lighting than that of clinical areas, plus stress-relieving pheromone plug ins are used throughout our wards and wider clinic.

We understand the differing needs of species and as such our cat wards have individual hideaway units so that they may feel more secure, weighing scales are covered with fake grass to be more appealing to our canine patients, and we obviously use an abundance of delicious and distracting treats to distract to make the journey as stress free as possible for all.

Our Reading & Kingswinford clinics are Fear Free certified

OUR PRINCIPLES

TOTAL WELLNESS PLAN

Health plans are nothing new to our industry and are predominantly cost saving in nature.

Our fantastic Total Wellness Plan not only reduces cost for routine preventative products and services, but more importantly eliminates veterinary consult fees completely and introduces a yearly comprehensive physical examination, including blood and urine screening to pick up any subtle indicators of early disease. The plan exists to remove barriers to care, and help pets live longer, healthier lives.
