Overview Of The Role
Phoenix is a leading UK IT solutions and managed service provider, with a deep specialism in the public sector. We work with organisations across government, healthcare, defence, public safety, education, housing, and the charity sector - helping them modernise with confidence across cloud, data and AI, cyber security, and managed services.
The Cleaners role is to support the Cleaning supervisor to maintain a clean work environment for others, and to enable the rest of the company to continue without disturbance in their day-to-day activities.
What will you be doing?
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all office, kitchen, washroom, and communal areas.
- Clean, tidy, and replenish washroom facilities, ensuring consumables are always well stocked.
- Ensure kitchens and break areas are clean, organised, and fully maintained, including dishwashing and fridge hygiene.
- Carry out routine cleaning of reception areas, meeting rooms, corridors, stairwells, offices, and other shared spaces.
- Empty waste and recycling bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly.
- Prepare meeting rooms and communal areas to a professional standard for employees and visitors.
- Maintain The Zone facilities, including kitchen and shower areas, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Remove litter, used crockery, and other clutter from workspaces and communal areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report any maintenance or health and safety concerns.
- Assist with opening and securing the building, including locking doors, setting alarms, and carrying out end-of-day checks.
- Support the wider facilities team in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment.

The right person for this role will be an experienced cleaner with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards. They will be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while managing their time effectively. - Fri: 16:30 - 18:30
