Join Amey as a Cleaner at HMP Manchester and enjoy a part-time role that can work around your family commitments. You'll work 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 07:00 and 17:00 and no weekend working required. Exact shift to be agreed with Facilities Manager.

The Role
As part of Amey's facilities management team, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the prison estate, supporting the vital services delivered at HMP Manchester.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high standards of cleaning across the prison site
- Ensure all areas are clean, safe, and well-presented
- Monitor stock levels and order cleaning consumables when required
- Safely use cleaning equipment and machinery following training provided
- Provide excellent service and support to site users

What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience in large buildings or commercial environments
- Experience using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive team player with a flexible approach
- Comfortable working within a secure prison environment

This role is subject to Prison Security Clearance, including a Standard DBS and Counter Terrorism Check (CTC). Amey will support you through the process.
