We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping professional with people management skills to join our team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough working 25 hours per week between Monday and Sunday.
As a vital member of the team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough. You will be required to supervise the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are cleaned in accordance with the specification provided. You will maintain accurate records, report faulty equipment and ensure patient and public safety whilst working, using appropriate signage.
Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings. Cleaning though out our hospital, following infection control guidelines and working to good high standards at all times.

What You'll Be Doing
Your Responsibilities Include But Will Not Be Limited To
- Supervising and supporting domestic staff to ensure the effective and efficient completion of cleaning schedules
- Participating in daily cleaning activities throughout the hospital as assigned
- Conducting regular housekeeping audits and inspections of wards, departments, operating theatres, outpatient areas, offices, and public spaces
- Ensuring that all cleaning activities adhere to current hospital policies, the National Healthcare Cleanliness Standards 2025, Infection Prevention and Control guidelines, and relevant Health and Safety legislation
What We'll Look For In You
We Are Looking For a Friendly Individual With
- Significant experience within a hospital cleaning or healthcare domestic services environment
- Experience supervising or leading cleaning teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills
