Part Time Customer Service Agent

Join G4S in Wath Upon Dearne: Part-Time Hybrid Customer Service Agent

Are you looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity that offers flexibility and the chance to make a real difference?

Join our thriving G4S Customer Contact Centre in Wath Upon Dearne! We're seeking motivated individuals to become Part-Time Customer Service Agents in a hybrid role, combining comprehensive onsite training with the flexibility of home-based work.

Key Role Details

Contract: Fixed-term for up to 6 months (£12.71 per hour + performance-related bonus). Potential for permanent roles may arise but is not guaranteed. Location: Hybrid role. Must live in South Yorkshire and be able to travel to our Wath-upon-Dearne site (S63 7ER). Post-Training Working Hours: Part-Time, 20 hours a week; Monday to Friday covering rotational shifts between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm July Start Date - This role is due to commence July 2026.

Crucial Training Commitment (Full-Time, Onsite)

This role requires a full-time commitment for initial onsite training for 2 weeks, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. You must be able to commit to this full-time schedule for the first 2 weeks of employment.

About The Role

As a Part-Time Customer Service Agent, you'll be the friendly first point of contact for our customers, providing professional, empathetic service and making a positive impact on every call. You’ll gain all the skills you need through our full training program to assist and communicate effectively.

What You'll Be Doing

Confidently handling telephone queries and providing clear information. Communicating effectively and building rapport with customers and colleagues. Maintaining accurate and timely records of all customer interactions. Delivering an exceptional customer experience and achieving target communication levels.

Essential Skills To Bring

Proven experience in a customer-focused environment. A confident, courteous communicator with an excellent telephone manner. The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. An excellent standard of written and spoken English. IT literate, with specific experience using Google packages. For home working, you'll need a private workspace and a reliable internet connection.

Desirable Skills (A bonus!):

Experience in a busy, fast-paced Call Centre environment. The ability to work independently and take initiative.
