Role Description

The Part-time Dietician at TherapyMantra will provide remote nutritional counseling and support to clients as part of an integrated mental health and wellness program. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Assessing clients’ dietary habits
  • Conducting nutritional evaluations
  • Developing individualized meal plans aligned with their physical and emotional health goals

The Dietician will collaborate with therapists and other wellness professionals to deliver holistic care, focusing on areas such as weight management, lifestyle modification, and medical nutrition therapy when appropriate. This role also involves:

  • Educating clients on evidence-based nutrition practices
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Using online tools and telehealth platforms to conduct sessions and follow-ups

Qualifications

  • Strong foundational knowledge in Dietetics and Nutrition
  • Skills in Nutritional Counseling and client education
  • Competencies in Medical Nutrition Therapy for relevant conditions
  • Experience in Weight Management and lifestyle-based interventions
  • Relevant degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by local regulations
  • Experience providing virtual or telehealth consultations is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work independently in a remote, multidisciplinary environment
  • Familiarity with evidence-based guidelines and the ability to integrate nutrition care with mental health and wellness programs
