Description
Join The Studio at Bath Spa University as a Digital Learning Advisor and lead immersive technology initiatives that empower creative micro-businesses and practitioners. This dynamic role blends tech resource management with skills and training to support the future of creative digital innovation.
(This is a part-time 0.6, fixed term contract until December 2026)
About the Role
You will manage the Studio's technology loan library, ensuring immersive equipment is well maintained, accessible, and supported for users. You will play a key role in delivering immersive technology learning programmes for Studio Residents and the wider community, helping to build skills and confidence in emerging technologies.
Working collaboratively with university teams and external partners, you will develop and coordinate learning opportunities that align with strategic objectives. You will also facilitate engaging workshops, events, and activities for Studio Residents, fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation in immersive media.

About You
- Proven experience in immersive media and creative technology demonstration.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
- Passion for emerging technologies in the creative industries.
- Experience in university or innovation hub settings.
- Experience in immersive media and creative technology education.
- Understanding of the creative and tech funding landscape.

Additional Information
Salary Grade 6 - Starting from £20,370 rising to £22,616 per annum, pro rata £33,951 - £37,694
The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
This is a 0.6 part time fixed term contract until December 2026
