The Opportunity
Join our friendly Food & Beverage team at Grinkle Park Hotel! In this part-time role, you’ll support front-of-house operations across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring every guest receives attentive and professional service. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly, take orders, and serve food and beverages with precision and care.
- Prepare and clear dining areas, set tables, and uphold presentation standards.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and handle transactions securely.
- Assist with food and drink preparation, including basic barista duties and beverage service where needed.
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen policies.
- Help with cleaning, stock rotation, and rudimentary inventory management.
- Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth operations and outstanding guest experiences.
- Be flexible to cover peak hours, weekends, and occasional evening events.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is welcome but not mandatory – a positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn are far more important.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanour when engaging with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, and juggle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a can-do attitude are essential.
- Right to work in the UK.
