Crouch End, London (N8)
Nearest Stations: Harringay Overground (10-minute walk) or Finsbury Park Underground (20-minute walk or 10-minute bus ride)
Contract
Part-time, Live-out
Working Schedule
Approximately 8-10 hours per week, spread over 2 days. It can be any weekdays (no weekend days). It can also be mornings or afternoons, as long as you finish by 6pm.
Salary
£23-£25 gross per hour, negotiable depending on experience. Ideally on a self-employed basis.
Start Date
September 2026 onwards (flexible)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and organised Housekeeper to support a warm and welcoming family based in a beautiful five-bedroom home in Crouch End. The household consists of two adults, an 18-month-old toddler, and a new baby due in November. This is the family's first time employing household staff, and they are looking for someone who will become a valued, long-term member of their home. The role focuses on high-standard housekeeping. The family are looking for someone warm, experienced, reliable, and confident managing a busy household independently.

Key Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping of a five-bedroom family home to a high standard (there’s no separate cleaner)
- Cleaning, tidying, and maintaining all areas of the property
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation
- Preparing fresh, healthy family meals, including batch cooking
- Maintaining household supplies and ensuring the home runs smoothly
Schedule
Approximately 8-10 hours per week, spread over 2 weekdays (any). Flexible, either mornings or afternoons. Flexibility can be offered for the right candidate.

Requirements
- Previous experience working within private households
- Several years' experience managing family homes independently
- Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills
- Cooking is a bonus, not a must
- Driving license not essential
- Organised, proactive, and able to use initiative
- Warm, trustworthy, and reliable
- Looking for a long-term position within a family home
