Part Time Maintenance Team Member

Maintenance Team Member - Staycity (22.5 hours/week)

We’re now hiring a Maintenance Team Member to help shape the Staycity guest journey.

Contract & Rate

  • Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week, over 4 days
  • Wage: £13.30 per hour
  • Shifts: 6 hours long (including an unpaid 30-minute break)

Requirements

We would love you to have:

  • Previous relevant experience and some knowledge of country/property-specific maintenance, safety, and health regulations (preferred but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Management

  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager on planned or scheduled maintenance checks.
  • Take a hands-on approach to reactive maintenance fixing issues in real-time.

Safety & Operations

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks ensuring all working orders in apartments and public areas.
  • Promote fixes for potential hazards and implement emergency response protocols.

Equipment & Compliance

  • Carry out preventive and curative maintenance of the property and its equipment while contributing to environmental sustainability measures.
  • Help maintain stock, equipment, and supplies specific to the maintenance department.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep technical equipment, the building, and all alarm systems in order.

Hazard Reporting

  • Promptly report any hazards (real or potential) to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
