Part-Time Marketing & Growth Associate

Green Orbit / SmartFitIQ

Initial equity-based opportunity — up to 1% equity, subject to agreed milestones and vesting

We are continuing to grow the team at Green Orbit as we develop SmartFitIQ, our AI-assisted fit and allocation platform for uniforms and PPE.

SmartFitIQ is being developed to help organisations improve sizing accuracy, reduce waste, strengthen audit trails, support employee wellbeing, and promote more inclusive PPE and uniform provision.

The platform is currently being developed in collaboration with CEMET — the Centre of Excellence in Mobile and Emerging Technologies at the University of South Wales — alongside engagement with public sector organisations as we continue to develop and validate the solution.

We are now looking to connect with a UK-based Part-Time Marketing & Growth Associate who is interested in helping build something meaningful from an early stage.

This role would suit someone with a strong interest in:

  • Marketing strategy
  • Digital content
  • LinkedIn and social media growth
  • Public sector and B2B outreach
  • Sustainability and ESG communications
  • Workplace wellbeing
  • PPE, uniforms, procurement or corporate responsibility
  • Startup growth and early-stage brand building

About the role

This is an early-stage startup opportunity for someone who wants to help shape the voice, visibility and market positioning of Green Orbit and SmartFitIQ.

The role will initially be part-time, likely around 8–10 hours per week, and will be structured on an equity-based / milestone-vesting basis until funding allows salary or paid remuneration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We are looking for someone who understands that startup environments require initiative, flexibility and a willingness to help build from the ground up.

The role may include:

  • Supporting Green Orbit’s LinkedIn content and growth strategy
  • Helping develop founder-led posts, newsletters and campaign content
  • Translating complex ideas around PPE, sustainability, wellbeing and inclusion into clear messaging
  • Supporting outreach to councils, NHS bodies, public sector organisations and large employers
  • Helping prepare marketing material for pilots, webinars and stakeholder engagement
  • Supporting case studies, pitch material and digital campaigns
  • Researching market trends, competitors and potential customer segments
  • Helping communicate Green Orbit’s values around equality, corporate responsibility, employee wellbeing and sustainability

We are particularly interested in hearing from people who can bring:

  • Strong written communication skills
  • A clear understanding of digital marketing and brand positioning
  • Confidence with LinkedIn and professional content creation
  • An interest in sustainability, AI, workplace wellbeing or inclusive design
  • A proactive and commercially aware mindset
  • The ability to work independently and contribute ideas
  • A genuine interest in growing with an early-stage company

Experience in B2B marketing, SaaS, public sector engagement, ESG, procurement, PPE, HR, health and safety, or sustainability would be valuable.

Important details

  • This opportunity is currently UK-based only.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to provide appropriate right-to-work evidence before appointment.
  • This is initially an equity-only role, with equity vesting subject to agreed milestones, contribution and formal contract. The intention is to move towards paid remuneration once funding allows.

Why Green Orbit?

Green Orbit is building SmartFitIQ to help solve real problems around poor-fitting PPE and uniforms, unnecessary waste, procurement inefficiency, employee discomfort, and exclusion caused by one-size-fits-all approaches.

We are looking for people who want to be part of a mission-led business with commercial ambition, social purpose and the potential to make a measurable impact.

Startup environments are not for everyone. However, for the right person, this is an opportunity to help shape the growth of a company from an early stage.

How to apply

Please send a short message outlining your interest, relevant experience and why this opportunity appeals to you.

You can apply via LinkedIn.

We are particularly keen to hear from people who are thoughtful, commercially aware, values-led and excited by the opportunity to help build Green Orbit and SmartFitIQ from the ground up.
