Care Assistant – Ashfield House, Raunds
Location: Ashfield Avenue, Raunds, Northamptonshire NN9 6DX Salary: £13.57 per hour Hours: Part-time (21 hours per week)
Shaw HealthCare, the UK’s largest employee-owned healthcare company, is seeking a passionate and caring Support Worker to join their team at Ashfield House, a 40-bed residential care home for older adults with physical frailty and dementia. Respite and long-term care services are provided within a purpose-built home, focusing on high-quality, person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering holistic care to residents by:
- Implementing person-centred support aligned with individual care plans
- Assisting with daily personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, hygiene)
- Recording and documenting care activities, including fluid intake, nutrition, and incident reports
- Ensuring dignity, choice, and inclusion in every interaction
- Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment
No prior care experience is necessary. Your people skills—empathy, professionalism, and commitment—will be developed through comprehensive training, ongoing support, and career progression.
