Company Description

Success Academies provides low-cost, high-quality homeschooling, alternative provision, and online tuition solutions for families and schools across the UK. The organization focuses on accessible education, offering a Core Provision Package that includes live online lessons in English, Maths, and Science, an engaging virtual learning environment, and regular progress reports. Learners benefit from weekly teacher-set tasks, a comprehensive resource library, and ongoing support and advice. All teachers have at least two years of classroom experience and are fully DBS checked and safeguarding trained. We only appoint teachers based in the UK.

Role Description

We have a series of part-time remote roles for online teachers in Media Studies, Computer Science, Games Development, Science, and Psychology. Educators will deliver live online lessons, design engaging lesson plans aligned with curricular goals, and adapt teaching materials for a virtual learning environment.

  • Deliver live online lessons.
  • Design engaging lesson plans aligned with curricular goals.
  • Adapt teaching materials for a virtual learning environment.
  • Set and mark weekly tasks.
  • Monitor learner progress.
  • Contribute to half-termly reports.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain high-quality provision.
  • Communicate regularly with families and schools.
  • Uphold safeguarding and inclusive teaching practices.

Role Details

  • The roles will commence from wb 31/8/26.
  • All sessions are delivered during school hours and term time.

Qualifications

  • Strong teaching and education skills, with experience delivering online lessons in one or more of Media Studies, Computer Science, Games Development, Science, or Psychology.
  • Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum design for digital and remote learning environments.
  • Understanding of new media and educational technology to create interactive and engaging online content.
  • Awareness of basic marketing and learner engagement strategies to promote participation and retention in online courses.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject area (e.g., Media, Computing, STEM, Psychology, Education).
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching or tutoring experience, preferably including online or blended learning.
  • Current DBS check (or ability to obtain one) and safeguarding training, with a strong commitment to learner welfare.
  • Excellent communication skills, reliable internet access, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
