Make a Lasting Impact

Make a lasting impact by shaping and enhancing payroll operations within a respected organisation at a pivotal stage of its journey. This part-time opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of payroll governance, streamline processes, and establish a resilient payroll and pensions function that will support the business well into the future.

Based in Edinburgh, this is an onsite position working 21.75 hours per week (0.6 FTE) on a six-month fixed-term contract.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Part Time Payroll HR Coordinator to take the lead on payroll and pension administration, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery while driving continuous improvement. Working closely with Finance, HR, external payroll providers and pension administrators, you'll play a central role in strengthening processes, enhancing controls, and supporting operational excellence.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys improving the way things are done. You'll review existing practices, implement more effective ways of working, and help build a robust payroll framework that creates lasting value for the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
