Beyond Talent Solutions are delighted to be supporting a growing accountancy practice as they look to appoint an experienced Payroller to join their team on a part-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional from an accountancy practice background who enjoys managing multiple client payrolls and delivering a high level of service.
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll be responsible for managing a varied payroll portfolio of approximately 400 weekly and monthly payroll clients.
The Role
You'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring payrolls are completed accurately and on time whilst remaining compliant with current legislation.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a varied client portfolio
- Managing payrolls from start to finish
- Processing statutory payments including SMP, SSP and SPP
- Managing pension submissions and pension auto-enrolment requirements
- Completing pension declarations and ensuring compliance obligations are met
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Calculating holiday pay and statutory entitlements
- Liaising directly with clients regarding payroll queries
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee information
- Ensuring payroll deadlines are met consistently
What We're Looking For
- Previous payroll experience gained within an accountancy practice is essential
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll
- Good understanding of pensions, auto-enrolment and statutory payments
- Confident managing multiple payrolls and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients
