Salary range £14,560 - £27,300
Location Huntly
Elaine Murray Accountancy Services is a growing accountancy practice supporting limited companies, sole traders and partnerships both locally and further afield.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Practice Accountant to join our team

The Successful Candidate Must Have
- Minimum 5 years UK accountancy practice experience
- Strong accountancy software experience including Quickbooks and Xero
- CCH software experience preferable but not essential
- Proven ability to prepare, review, finalise and file limited company accounts
- Proven ability to prepare, review and finalise sole traders and partnership accounts along with self assessment.
- Experience in reviewing bookkeeping work completed by junior staff
- Ability to work independently without needing basic training or close supervision
An accountancy qualification is preferred but not essential as a strong proven UK accountancy practice experience will be preferred and considered.

About The Role
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of client files, review work, prepare and finalise accounts and tax returns along with completing filing with Companies House and HMRC.
For the right person, there may be an opportunity to grow into an Accounts Manager or Practice Manager role in the firm to run alongside the Director.
