Part Time Private Client Tax Manager

North Cambridge, Hybrid and Flexible Working
£70,000-£80,000 FTE (Pro Rata)

About the Opportunity

Looking for a part-time role where flexibility doesn't come at the expense of progression?

Not every part-time role means taking a step backwards. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded accountancy practice where flexible working is part of the culture rather than a policy on paper. Whether you're looking for a reduced week, shorter days or a schedule that works around family or other commitments, you'll be trusted to manage your time while continuing to work with an excellent portfolio of clients. As a Part Time Private Client Tax Manager, you'll manage your own portfolio while working alongside experienced Partners and senior leaders who have built a genuinely supportive and flexible environment. Many of them work flexibly themselves, proving that career progression and work-life balance can go hand in hand. Based in North Cambridge, you'll enjoy hybrid working, real autonomy and the opportunity to continue developing your career without feeling that choosing part time limits your future.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
