Role Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organised Part Time Receptionist / Host to be the welcoming face of our company. This pivotal role supports our daily operations by delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and visitors. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining the professional and inviting atmosphere that Paul Rigby Ltd is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of Paul Rigby Ltd.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate appointment bookings and manage meeting room schedules efficiently.
  • Maintain reception area cleanliness and organisation to uphold company standards.
  • Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and handling post and deliveries.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience as a receptionist, host, or in a customer-facing role within the Automotive & Driving or a related industry is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in British English.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanour.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using telephone systems.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours on a permanent basis.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive terminology and services is advantageous but not essential.
