Job Role: Part Time Receptionist

Part Time Hrs: Mon - Fri 9am - 3pm

Location: Onsite, Birchwood Office Warrington Cheshire

What This Job Involves

As a Part Time Receptionist at our Birchwood office, you'll serve as the first point of contact and local ambassador for our workplace experience. Working 9am–3pm, you'll manage Front of House operations, coordinate facilities-related matters, and create a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and contractors. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll take ownership of reception, switchboard, and essential site operations while ensuring services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

  • Manage Front of House operations, greeting and directing visitors, contractors, and staff while maintaining high standards in reception and office areas
  • Handle all reception duties including answering calls, managing email queries, coordinating mail, administering parking, and maintaining the visitor sign-in process
  • Oversee meeting room bookings, conduct daily checks, and arrange refreshments and hospitality requirements to support seamless workplace operations
  • Monitor office housekeeping standards, restock consumables, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and perform light cleaning duties as needed
  • Conduct contractor inductions, manage access badges, coordinate deliveries, and provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a reception, front of house, or similar customer-facing role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong administrative capabilities
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach
  • Experience with customer service, business administration, CAFM systems, or facilities management practices is desirable
