Part time Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVN position at East of England Veterinary Specialists
- Location: Wimpole, Nr Cambridge, United Kingdom
- Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term maternity cover
- Practice Type: Small animal orthopaedic specialist referral centre (Wimpole, Royston, Cambridgeshire)
We are looking to recruit a passionate, qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our friendly and positive team.
About the Role
This flexible nursing role rotates across Ward Nursing, Imaging, Pre-Clinical Preparation, and Theatre, providing varied and enriching daily responsibilities. As part of your duties, you will:
- Responsible for anaesthesia management, including performing local and regional anaesthetic blocks (in both Prep and Theatre environments)
- Contribute to the provision of high levels of clinical care in a specialist referral veterinary setting
- Support clinical team members to deliver outstanding patient outcomes

This is a 28.5-hour position scheduled over 3–4 days per week (Monday to Friday).
The role suits an RVN eager to develop their career, though referral experience is not essential.
