Location Morecambe, White Lund Industrial Estate
Hours & Pay
- 32 hours per week (Wednesday to Saturday)
- £22,508 per annum (plus pension and company benefits)
About the Role
We’re seeking a friendly, reliable Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties to join the Brewers team in Morecambe. As a key member of the branch, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service, support our local community, and help maintain smooth operations. No prior experience with our products is required—just great customer service skills and teamwork.
Our Morecambe store is a local hub serving homeowners and tradespeople with a breadth of decorating materials, including:
- Trade & designer paints (multiple brands)
- Decorating supplies for home improvement projects
Store hours:
- Mon–Fri: 7am–5pm
- Sat: 8am–5pm

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional in-branch service, upholding Brewers’ reputation for quality.
- Use product knowledge to recommend suitable items and enhance customer experience.
- Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and offer comprehensive solutions.

Driving & Deliveries:
- Make contactless deliveries using the Company Transit van (local area).
- Unload deliveries and ensure efficient stock distribution.

Stock & Back-Office Tasks:
- Mix paint, process specialist orders, and request special stock via branch network.
- Maintain a safe, organised warehouse/warehouse area per company standards.
- Promote seasonal & special promotions, including merchandising in-store to boost sales.

Operational Support:
- Assisting with inventory management and general store maintenance.
Who We’re Looking For
✅ Exceptional customer service & communication skills – translating needs into product recommendations. ✅ Approachable, friendly personality – happy to help both customers and colleagues. ✅ Team player, but capable of independent work. ✅ Familiarity with the local area (essential for deliveries). ✅ Full clean manual driving licence (must be valid for role). ✅ Enthusiasm to learn and progress in the industry. ❌ Previous retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but not required – full on-the-job training provided.
