The Role: Sales Assistant

This is retail with momentum. As a Sales Assistant, you’re on the front line of one of the UK’s busiest store networks, helping customers find what they need, keeping the shop floor sharp, and powering the team through busy trading days. Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Greet customers and deliver exceptional service from the door to the till
  • Help customers find the right product for their needs
  • Keep the shop floor tidily stocked, well-displayed, and customer-ready
  • Replenish shelves and rails to ensure shelves are always organised and appealing
  • Process transactions quickly and accurately
  • Safely promote current offers and recognise upsell opportunities
  • Work collaboratively as a team to meet daily sales and service targets

Requirements

You’ll bring:

  • Confidence, friendliness, and a proven ability to stay positive in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication skills – customers come first
  • A natural team-player mentality – thrive when the pace quickens
  • Flexibility and reliability – especially during busy trading periods
  • Motivation and drive – and genuine pride in your work
  • (Retail or customer service experience is beneficial but not mandatory – we’re happy to train)
