Sales Assistant (Part-Time) – 16 Hours Per Week

Hours of Work & Shifts

16 hours per week Shifts include:

  • Monday: 5:30am – 11:30am
  • Wednesday: 5pm – 10pm
  • Saturday: 5pm – 10pm

Site Location: A63 Petuaria Way (Westbound), North Ferriby, East Yorkshire, HU14 3LN

About the Role

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing world-class customer service with a smile
  • Monitoring the store and forecourt for safety and efficiency
  • Authorising fuel pumps and serving customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Handling and managing cash accurately
  • Assisting with stock operations, including:
    • Deliveries
    • Restocking shelves
    • Rotating stock
    • Date checking perishables
  • Offering advice and guidance to customers on products, services, and promotions
  • Ensuring the entire site—store and forecourt—remains clean, tidy, and professional
  • Maintaining security awareness throughout all operational hours
  • Covering holidays and sickness absence when required (flexibility is key!)
  • Attending regular training to support personal and professional development
