Responsibilities
As a Retail Assistant, your role will include:
- Greeting customers and assisting with product selection and queries
- Delivering outstanding customer service at every touchpoint
- Maintaining a well-stocked, tidy, and visually appealing shop floor
- Replenishing shelves and rails to meet customer demand
- Processing transactions efficiently and accurately at the till
- Promoting current offers and upselling where appropriate
- Collaborating with the team to achieve daily sales and service goals
Qualifications & Requirements
While formal qualifications aren’t mandatory, we’re looking for:
- Retail or customer service experience (a plus, but not essential)
- A confident communicator with a friendly, positive attitude
- Someone who thrives as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and reliability, especially during peak trade periods
- Motivation to deliver results and take pride in your work
