Customer Service & Sales Assistant – Fixed Term Contract (20 Hours/Week)

Are you a talent in customer service and sales? At SIXT, you can fully showcase your strengths. You’ll ensure customer satisfaction, manage our vehicle fleet, and take on a variety of branch tasks—all while learning about our vehicles with hands-on training and providing first-class service.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for our customers, blending friendliness, professionalism, and a passion for sales and service into every interaction. Your duties include:

  • Handling rental agreements and resolving customer inquiries
  • Operating efficiently with a service-oriented mindset while maintaining an engaging, positive attitude
  • Supporting fleet management and diverse branch operations
  • Working flexibly across 20 hours per week

Location: SIXT’s new Exeter Airport branch Contract Duration: Fixed-term until end of October 2026


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring positive customer experiences from first contact through checkout
  • Supporting vehicle sales appointments and processing bookings
  • Managing customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests
  • Assisting in fleet inspections and administrative tasks
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a high-standards branch environment

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Completed secondary education (e.g., finished high school)
  • Essential skills:
    • Strong customer service aptitude
    • Sales experience or enthusiasm
  • Key attributes:
    • Passion for sales and customer service
    • Flexibility and adaptability, willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Team-oriented with a positive, energetic approach
  • Driving requirements:
    • Hold a full UK/EU driving license (preferred)
    • At least 12 months’ driving experience

    • Base salary of £13,255.28 pro-rata plus commission for achievements
