Part Time Senior Practice Accountant - Paddock Wood
TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood, who are looking for a Part Time Senior Practice Accountant to join their experienced team in a general practice capacity, primarily focused on statutory accounts and corporate tax returns, but there will be an opportunity to support with some self assessment tax work, and some more interesting management accounts work too, should you wish. Our client is willing to build the position around the candidates experience and aspirations.
As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will report directly into the Manager and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to multi million pound groups. You will be based in an amazing office in a rural location in Paddock Wood and also have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. This is a great position with an excellent practice with a modern culture who promote a great work life balance. Full time or part time applicants will be considered.

You will be responsible for:
- Prepare and review annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Opportunity to prepare and review monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns.
- Managing your client portfolio and client relations.
- Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers.
- Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required.

Requirements
Part Time Senior Practice Accountant Paddock Wood
- You will be qualified, or studying ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience with at least 3-5 years’ experience within practice.
- You will have worked as a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, ideally management accounts, tax and VAT.
Benefits

- £35,000 - £50,000, based on experience
- 3-4 days per week, or equivalent hours
- Full benefits package
- Study support as required
