An established and long‑standing law firm in North Ayrshire is seeking a Part‑Time Conveyancing Solicitor to join its residential property team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a close‑knit, supportive environment, focusing on quality client service rather than high‑volume work. The firm has deep local roots, a consistent flow of residential work and experienced leadership.
This position is particularly well suited to a solicitor looking for part‑time hours, continuity of client care and work life balance.

The role As a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, you will manage a caseload of property transactions from instruction through to completion, providing regular updates to clients and other parties throughout the process.
You will work closely with secretarial support to progress matters efficiently and liaise with colleagues to ensure smooth handovers on non‑working days. The role is primarily residential conveyancing, with only very occasional non‑standard property‑related tasks.
About you This role would suit a Conveyancing Solicitor who: Has experience handling residential conveyancing matters Enjoys working within a local practice environment Prioritises quality client care over high‑volume caseloads Is organised and comfortable managing structured handovers Works well as part of a small team with secretarial support Is seeking part‑time hours for flexibility and work‑life balance
