Part Time Supervisor
We are recruiting for a Part Time Supervisor to join our team. This role offers flexible hours, supportive management, and opportunities for development. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day operations, leading a small team, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining company standards and Health & Safety compliance.
Part Time Supervisor responsibilities and duties
- Supervise, coach and support team members to deliver high-quality service and achieve performance targets.
- Organise rotas and allocate tasks to ensure adequate cover during shifts.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and handle enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
- Open and close the premises when required and carry out cash handling and end-of-day reconciliations.
- Maintain stock control, place orders and manage deliveries to minimise waste and ensure availability.
- Assist with training and induction of new staff and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide clear communication to management about operational issues, staffing needs and performance metrics.

Essential skills, qualifications and experience for Supervisor role
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a retail, hospitality, customer service or related environment preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a small team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
- Good numeracy and basic IT skills; experience with EPOS systems and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Right to work in the UK and be able to provide relevant identification and references.
Desirable attributes and training
- First Aid, Food Safety (Level 2) or Health & Safety qualifications are beneficial.
- Experience in inventory management or ordering systems.
- Conflict resolution and customer service training.
- Willingness to undertake additional training and progress into senior roles.
