As a Trainee Audiology Practitioner, you’ll gain clinical skills while also managing administration and supporting patient needs. Training begins with Wax Removal before progressing to hearing aid fitting and clinical services.

This Trainee Audiology Practitioner role is an ideal entry point for anyone interested in a career in Hearcare. You’ll benefit from industry-leading training, advanced equipment, and ongoing support, becoming an integral member of the team as the first point of contact for our customers. Upon completing your training, you’ll perform key clinical activities—including ear repair, rehabilitation, and wax removal using microsuction—alongside the customer service pathway.

The Business
- Located at the Oban Hearcare store, but you’ll also cover the Fort William store, so a driving license is essential.
- The first four weeks of training will take place at the Greenock Store, so please note this before applying.

- 24 hours per week
- 3 days between Monday–Saturday (9am–5pm)

Requirements
We’re looking for someone eager to learn and progress in Audiology, with preference given to candidates with previous experience in healthcare, retail, or customer-facing roles, but it’s not essential.
To begin, we require the following:
- Good written and verbal English for effective communication with customers and colleagues
- A strong interest in self-development and skill enhancement
- Fluency in patient management systems (though training will be provided if needed)
Degree or prior qualifications are not required—motivation and willingness to learn matter most!
