Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon

Up to £80,000 DOE pro rata plus benefits

Vets Now Nottingham provides out-of-hours veterinary care for dogs, cats, and small animals. Our team works nights, weekends, and bank holidays to provide emergency and critical care for sick and injured small animals when they need it most. The caseload is variable with a range of private and PDSA clients, and the team regularly mentor vet students, Cutting Edge attendees, and participate in the PDSA exchange scheme.

Now for work-life balance

This part-time role consists of working an average of 38.5 hours per week, following the rota pattern below:

  • Week 1: Monday and Tuesday 1800-0900, Saturday 1200-1900, Sunday 0800-1800
  • Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday 1800-0900
  • Week 3: Monday and Tuesday 1800-0900, Saturday 1200-1900, Sunday 0800-1800
  • Week 4: Wednesday and Thursday 1800-0900
