Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident veterinary surgeon with general practitioner skills, but with strong surgical skills and a keen interest in advancing their professional abilities. As the out-of-hours provider and hospital in the area we remain committed to providing excellent first opinion client care and therefore the role will also involve routine consultations and varied inpatient care.

Candidates should have at least 2 years proven UK experience to thrive in this busy, forward-thinking hospital environment while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of the Dorset coast. As primarily a first opinion practice the successful candidate must also be keen to provide excellent client care both in the consult room and in managing medical and surgical cases, but with a strong team to lean on can feel supported with more complex and challenging cases.

This role is part-time, working an average of 27 hours per week with 1 in 6 weekends included within this rota which are a core feature of this role as we firmly believe in fairness across the team.

If you are passionate about high-quality veterinary care and want to be part of a dynamic, high-performing team, we would be delighted to hear from you.
